We’re excited to welcome Julie Espey to our Primary team for the 2022-2023 school year. Julie will be taking over in Janet Moro’s classroom as the lead teacher, and Kristina Richards will continue in the classroom as the assistant. Ms. Julie will be joining Ms. Janet’s classroom for a few days each week for the remainder of this school year.
Julie is a first-generation Mexican American and Chicago native. She recently celebrated her silver wedding anniversary and has two fun-loving children attending college. She is passionate about saving Mother Earth, children’s rights, and welfare. She believes in helping each child reach their fullest potential in all areas of development.
Outside the classroom, Julie enjoys spending time with family and friends, long summer days in Maine, and strolling along a farmer’s market on a sunny afternoon.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science, a Master of Science in Social Work, and she holds an AMI Primary Diploma from Montessori Institute of North Texas. Julie has more than 20 years of experience working with children.
