The Montessori School of San Antonio is a beautiful and calm oasis, situated on 24 acres at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway in far North-Central San Antonio. Classrooms are designed specifically to meet the learning criteria set out by Dr. Maria Montessori. The campus has a quarter-mile nature trail for students to explore, a full soccer field for games, and ample playground equipment. The outdoor spaces at The MSSA create inviting gathering spaces for both outdoor play and social time.
Classrooms in MSSA’s main building surround the Library and open to outdoor gardens and patios. These outdoor areas of the campus are as much a part of the Montessori environment as the actual classroom. Classrooms have a full complement of Montessori materials for each age and class group. Access to the outdoor environment provides children even more opportunities to learn independently. Upper Elementary and Middle School MSSA students participate in overnight outdoor education field trips that encourage team building and connection to natural environments.
MSSA’s dedicated Admission team invites parents to tour the 24-acre campus for an opportunity to see The Montessori School of San Antonio’s beautiful facilities, observe classrooms in session, have in-depth conversations about the school’s curriculum, and have questions about the programs answered.
During the tour, parents will get a glimpse into the school’s environment as they explore the campus. They will also experience the day-to-day atmosphere of the school and discover the ways it fosters natural curiosity in students.
Tours are available by appointment with the Admission Office. All perspective parents are requested to tour the campus prior to application and admission.
