Some artists wait entire lifetimes before seeing their art displayed in a gallery, but thanks to the McNay Spotlight program, MSSA students were able to see their art on display during the pandemic.
The MSSA students’ String Sculptures exhibit went up in May of 2020 and have been continuously on display since. The exhibit has also now been extended through September of 2021!
MSSA Art Teacher, Ms. Margo said she is thrilled to share news that now the McNay museum also designated, May 20-23, as Spotlight Free Admission Weekend for artists, their families, and friends. Ms. Margo is pictured alongside some of the students’ String Sculptures that are on display.
