The Montessori School of San Antonio will be closed for Winter Break from Monday, December 23, through Friday, January 3, 2025. School will resume on Monday, January 6, 2025.

The Montessori School of San Antonio was founded as the Judson School – a Montessori Workshop in 1974. From there it has grown to include Primary, Elementary, and Middle School Montessori programs. The MSSA campus is a secure 24-acre parcel at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway in far North-Central San Antonio with a surrounding environment designed specifically to meet the learning criteria set out by Dr. Maria Montessori.
As a parent, I can confidently say that I could not have chosen a better community for my children and our family unit. MSSA works hard to maintain a wonderful learning environment where grace and courtesy are always paramount. The education is challenging, yet manageable, and it allows students to have a very subtle transition when moving on to a higher grade-level."

The 5th and 6th-grade boys basketball teams kicked off their winter break with an exciting midafternoon game last Saturday. The 6th-grade team celebrated a well-deserved victory, while the 5th-grade team showed great promise with a strong start but ended with a loss. The teams will play again on January 11. 🏀 #MSSA #themontessorischoolofsanantonio
