Now enrolling, see the Montessori difference! Montessori at MSSA is an education that is both nurturing and rigorous, respecting each student’s unique pace and style of learning while continually encouraging each child to reach their maximum potential.
Welcome to The Montessori School of San Antonio
Where children are guided to be passionate learners, independent thinkers, and engaged citizens.
The Montessori School of San Antonio was founded as the Judson School – a Montessori Workshop in 1974. From there it has grown to include Primary, Elementary, and Middle School Montessori programs. The MSSA campus is a secure 24-acre parcel at the intersection of Loop 1604 and Rogers Ranch Parkway in far North-Central San Antonio with a surrounding environment designed specifically to meet the learning criteria set out by Dr. Maria Montessori.
As a parent, I can confidently say that I could not have chosen a better community for my children and our family unit. MSSA works hard to maintain a wonderful learning environment where grace and courtesy are always paramount. The education is challenging, yet manageable, and it allows students to have a very subtle transition when moving on to a higher grade-level."

Say hello to Ms. Cassandra! 👋
Today, we celebrate Ms. Cassandra. With a warm smile and an open heart, Ms. Cassandra fosters a positive learning environment where her students feel at home. She embraces the unique learning journeys of her students while finding that she also can learn as much from them as they can from her. She loves how MSSA feels like a second home and the connection between her and her colleagues. Ms. Cassandra has been with MSSA for seven years, and we are so lucky to have her as an Upper Elementary teacher. #MSSA #themontessorischoolofsanantonio #teachersrock
